Innovation

Innovation, sounds so familiar to me because i'm majoring Media Innovation.
Base on what I know about Innovation, which is we do alot of research on certain topic, looking at other people's work, animation and so on, then we created our own thing base on those researches that we did. It could be said that it's a kind of combination art work.

Those who are directly responsible for application of the innovation are often called pioneers in their field, whether they are individuals or organisations.]

Invention

Invention, from the word invent, means a creation which is never created by any other person in the world. As an example, Thomas Edison invented the tin foil phonograph. Why is it not light bulb? Because it is he improved upon a 50-year-old idea rather than invent it.

If i would give an example of invention, as in fiction, have you people watch the animation "Jimmy Neutron"? In the cartoon he's a boy genius who invents alot of weird stuff.

Another example of inventor cartoon character is "Lewis" in the animation of "Meet the Robinsons"

Novelty

Quoting from Wikipedia, [Novelty is a patentability requirement. An invention is not patentable if the claimed subject matter was disclosed before the date of filing, or before the date of priority if a priority is claimed, of the patent application.
In some countries, such as the United States, Canada and Japan, a grace period exists for protecting an inventor or their successor in title from authorised or unauthorised disclosure of the invention before the filing date. That is, if the inventor or the successor in title publishes the invention, an application can still be validly filed which will be considered novel despite the publication, provided that the filing is made during the grace period following the publication. The grace period is usually 6 or 12 months. This type of novelty bar is sometimes known as a relative novelty bar.
In other countries, including European countries, any act that makes an invention available to the public, no matter where in the world, before the filing date or priority date has the effect of barring the invention from being patented. In the class, our lecturer explains this words as the meaning of one kind of creativity which the individual does not have the knowledge that the particular creation that he or she created had already exist or created.

As an example, a 9 year old boy draw a picture where it looks like Monalisa's portion. He shows that to his mom, and his mom said it's brilliant that his own son has created a master piece without the knowledge that "Monalisa" actually already exist.

A more direct meaning of novelty quoted fron "WIKIPEDIA" is:

Like what it's said and in the class, if the invention was invented by another person, and one individual doesn't have the knowledge of that and though that it's his/her invention instead, that what you call novelty.

creative and creativity

Creative is a noun. It is referring to materials, imagery, or collateral prescriptively produced through creativity and the creative process. [Wiki Source]

From the word "create", it means that a person is creative, when he/she create something unique where no one has ever created yet. There are a lot of creative people in this world. Every one can be creative by creating something new and unique. People like song writers, poets, song composers, artist, designer etcetra etcetra..

People like Leonardo Da Vinci and Isaac Newton, both of the are extremely brilliant and creative. Art works from Leonardo Da Vinci are all unique and full with aesthetics value.

Leonardo Da Vinci is well known for his creative works.

Isaac Newton's law of gravity is popularly attributed to a creative leap he experienced when observing a falling apple.

As for creativity, it is an adjective. It is a mental and social process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts, creativity is fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight. [Wiki Source]

i haven few friends from The One Accademy and some MMU seniors, most of them are very creative but emo(depress, dark). Yet they always produce great amazing art works..
